Explity Music presents Talita Otović's Digiworld: Perpetual Genesis release party

Digiworld: Perpetual Genesis is Talita Otović's first live album, released on April 1, 2025 on the Explity Music label. It compiles 3 years of live performances from 2022 to 2024 on her trusty machine - the Elektron Digitakt. This project archives the original recordings of 3 lives (60'), as well as some thirty tracks from these same lives, arranged for the occasion. The project is accompanied by a 15-minute video produced by artist and videographer Lou Fauroux. In this 3D animated short, a non-player character itinerates through a succession of liminal spaces, accompanied by the sounds of the album.

Talita Otović (live)

Talita Otović is a Paris based producer, live performer, artist, DJ and part of the label Explity. In her musical choices Talita offers a real sound aesthetic, both virulent and emotive, fueled by the energy of hardcore, its penchant for cinematic soundtracks or less known genres like turbo folk. She defends an eclectic vision of music going through gabber, idm, techno, spoken words and many sound practices such as installations, field recording and scoring. Talita's productions are filled with a personal strength and an aura that is tinged with her ideas, her spirituality and her emotions.

Dj Würm (live)

Gaspard Emma Hers / Dj Würm is a young multidisciplinary artist from Brussels.

Their work delves into liminal spaces somewhere between fiction, archive, and diary. They are taking great inspiration from chamber black metal, swampy rave sounds, and crappy horror movies.

Combining the imaginary and the grotesque, their music aims to shape new possibilities for the post-club scene.

Speedrunnerz (live)

Speedrunnerz is a playful clubbing project by Syqlone and Paul Parking exploring the aesthetics of jungle and atmospheric drum and bass. Drawing inspiration from 2000s Playstation 2 video games and high-bpm electronic music, the duo alternate between digital production, analog modular, violin, trumpet and vocals to create a hypnotic digital rave experience in club speedracing mode at 170 bpm in first-person.

YoungWoman (DJ set)

YoungWoman is everyone’s favorite woman!

The Amsterdam-based Egyptian DJ has been dazzling audiences with sets that feel like drinking an energy drink and hopping on a rollercoaster. This explosive energy combined with an irresistible playfulness behind the decks earned her appearances at Rewire festival, Down The Rabbit Hole festival, De School & Garage Noord and she was named by Dutch media as one of the DJs to keep an eye on.

Nouminouw (DJ set)

Explity member and DJ from Brittany. From ambient to hardcore with a pop energy, she warms up the dancefloor to start the party in the best vibe possible. Get ready to dive into the fusion of ambient and hardcore music, where ethereal melodies float through heavy, pounding beats, creating a space where calm meets chaos, and the crowd moves between tension and release.

Karlfroye B2B KimberlaiD (DJ set)

Karlfroye is a producer, artist, and DJ from the south of France, known for her ability to create vivid, narrative-driven soundscapes. She weaves together the intense rhythms of hardcore with the pulsating energy of jumpstyle, the raw power of gabber, and the nostalgic tones of video game music. Each track and mix is a journey through a fictional universe, blending the ferocity of hardcore with storytelling that explores themes of melancholy and longing. Her music is a tapestry of emotions, intricately crafted to evoke tales of friendship and love, offering a profound listening experience.

Hybrid hardcore producer and DJ. At the crossroads of her djing world, you will find a place where to pursue a core adventure. Depending on the path you follow, you might encounter some doomcore, gabber, industrial hardcore… harmonized with other of her current lighter favourite tracks. She blends a lot of subgenres together to build intensity and skirt expectations.
Production wise, she navigates through harshness, distorsion and melodic emphasis while shaping contrast to bring elements out.

Morgane Baffier (performance)

Using graphics, fabricated images and Internet videos, artist-lecturer Morgane Baffier elaborates all manner of metaphysical theories and reflections, developing them to the point of absurdity. With a desire to deconstruct knowledge, she appropriates the codes used in business, the media and intellectual circles, and mocks, with finesse and humor, the systems of power and authority that condition access to speech. For this event, she will talk to us about gabber.

Paulo Gatabase (MC)

On 12.04, Paulo Gatabase will take on the role of Master of Ceremony. As part of the duo Otto+Gata alongside Talita Otović, he will bring his creative energy and charisma to the event, adding a unique touch to the party.

Lou Fauroux (screening)

Lou Fauroux is an artist and filmmaker, graduated from the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, who examines the impact of technology, artificial intelligence, and power structures on humans through queer perspectives, using various mediums such as 3D, video, sound, sculpture and installation.

For this album, Lou Fauroux created a 15-minute video piece coming along the sound work of Talita Otović.
